My troll response:
Pixel 1 - Pixel 8: Tied for worst.
Nexus Line: Varied ranking

My non-troll response:
I've seen and experienced less issues with their lower tiered a-Series line than the flagship version. Every year there is something fairly broken or (in a negative way) gaming changing.

LOL I'll take the non-troll response, thanks. Personally, while not perfect (is there a perfect phone?), I can't think of one "game changing" issue or anything I would consider to be "broken" with my P8P. I would be interested in what you have personally experienced that leads to your comment if you would care to share. Thx.

I don't have an order but my favorite pixel with outstanding battery was Pixel 5 and one I didn't really care was Pixel 3
Pixel 3 was a disaster, it's what made me go from Nexus/Pixel to Samsung.

@SeeBeeEss
What I meant by gaming changing should have read maybe more as go proprietary or add something that exists and change it up. Ironically the Pixel 3 was a good example. I had to get new wireless chargers because some guy getting paid millions a year, not reading and signing off on the proprietary wireless charger.

Yeah my Nexus 5 and Nexus 6p suffered with LG hardware lol

I'm still loving my Pixel 5. The size/weight and dimensions are ideal for me, and I adore those fabric cases. I prize reliability above all else, so a "good enough" camera works for me.

My daughter took it on vacation recently and used it with local pre-paid SIMs. She had her iPhone with her too but kept that locked in the safe in her hotel room. She could text me over the hotel's wifi when in her room but used the Pixel 5 while out exploring different cities and countrysides.

The P5 feels like it weighs about half of what the iPhone weighs. I know that's not accurate, but the weight difference is significant enough to feel that way.

What was the last Android version for the 5?

Out of the Pixels I've owned, I'd rank them best to worst:

8 Pro
4 XL
2 XL
6 Pro

I think the 4XL gets needlessly bashed because it gets lumped in with the 4 (which did have a battery that was way too small). I really liked the design of the 4xl and thought the face unlock was amazingly fast and accurate. I had no issues with battery life. I didn't really use the air gestures (Soli) much but thought it was cool that G was trying something different...it's not like its presence detracted from the phone in any way.

The 6 Pro was OK except for the fingerprint unlock. If my fingers got dry/cracked in the winter it was hard to unlock the phone. Oh, and I really didn't love the curved glass.

For me, P5 was the best and P2 the worst. I understand why the P5 wasn't liked by many; middling specs with a high price. But the whole far exceeded the sum of the parts, and there weren't any major flaws. Only reason I moved on was the battery life after three years and the software EOL. I really wanted to like the P3 but the battery life was a major problem. Only reason I stuck with it for two years is because of a warranty replacement halfway through.

I've only owned the Pixel XL, Pixel 4XL, and Pixel 8Pro. I feel like I got lucky and owned the best versions. Picture quality was always great and consistently blows away my kids apple pictures. OS has been super smooth. I always though battery life was good. I never have any issues getting through a full day which is all I care about. Never had any heating issues.

I actually liked the 4XL the best until the battery really started to go in its 3rd year.

My Pixel 8 was the first bad experience with a Pixel for me, so it's the worst Pixel in my experience. Despite its massive size I probably should have gotten the 8 pro.

The best was probably my Pixel 5, followed by Pixel 6 with the exception of the USB port crapping out. I barely remember the Pixel 2, Pixel 3 was fine for me, I enjoyed the Pixel 4 but battery life wasn't the best. I didn't buy the Pixel 7 (not enough of an upgrade from my Pixel 6).

I want the smaller Pixel 9 Pro but I'm not thrilled about the price increase and I'm supremely disappointed in the pre-order deals (or lack thereof) Google Canada is offering. I'll wait a few months and see.
