So I have the ability to buy this at a reduced price. For what it is, is $150 worth the asking price? I'm sure the Moto 360 won't be as low or carried as openly as the G Watch.

I got mine for $150 and it was a great decision. I love my g watch and wear it every day.

I think Phil and Jerry did a fantastic job of tempering expectations. If you are expecting a phone on your wrist you will be disappointed. If you want Google Now and your notifications on your wrist you will be very happy with it. Is $150 worth not having to pull out your phone all the time? It is to me...
