Worth a buy or wait?

Well people who buy a new device in first week or month of the release are pretty weird. Logically thinking, every newly released device has an amount of defective devices and half or third of selled devices in that week or month are defective. So I would wait 2-3 months and then buy or not buy because 1 month is enough to see device's pros and cons.

The only things I wish this tablet had are:
1. Slightly bigger screen.
2. Slightly bigger battery or improved battery life.
3. USB C charging

Hopefully the revamped model coming will address some of this wish list. Still, the device is worth buying. I had 2 N10s and the performance difference is very noticeable. If you don't mind waiting, Nvidia's new table should be out before the end of the year though.

I'd say no, it isn't worth it. I've been using my SHIELD Tablet since December 2014, and it got replaced in the recall, so I have a presumably year or so old unit. The past eight months have been very frustrating with it, the battery only lasts a few hours at best, and the tablet freezing up when I try to do something as simple as browse the AC app. The motherboard itself crashed two weeks ago, and it would cost more to fix the tablet than it would to buy a different tablet. I'm going to take the battery out, mail it some friends, and they'll shoot it at the fun range.

I know that one experience isn't enough to label a product as "bad", but I always hear about tablets with NVIDIA chips having strange issues. Specifically, the Pixel C and Nexus 9. I can't trust NVIDIA's chips, so I'd recommend getting a Samsung Tab S2.
