I use my Tab S2 a lot. Have to recharge two or three times a day.
Wondering if a reset would help. Anyone tried it?

Thanks. I did a reset and restore. Everything went fine.
Battery lasts three times as long now.
Anyone else having problems - do a reset!
Loving my Tab S2!

Just bought my Tab S2 this week. I also use my tablet a lot --wore out my Nexus7 in a year-- this concept of reset and restore to improve battery longevity is new to me. Does anyone have time to explain it to me?

It would take less time for you to just try it. It definitely worked on my almost two year old Moto X.

The trick is to keep Google Play from downloading every app you've ever tried and uninstalled. Otherwise you get a bazillion apps you don't want, some probably slowing you down. That's why the reset helps. If you just let all the apps download all at once it won't really help. Or if they do download, make sure to uninstall the ones you know you won't use.
