Would an unlocked T-Mobile V20 receive updates?

Like the title says, would an unlocked T-Mobile V20 receive new updates? Or would I have to wait until I get set up on a new network?

If you use the LG Bridge, then any updates available to the TMO variant should be available to you.

I'm not too sure what the LG bridge is. Either way I don't use it right now.

It's software for, basically, backing up an LG. But if the phone is on TMobile now, being unlocked won't keep it from getting updates. (If it's not on TMobile, you'll have to use LG Bridge. LG BRIDGE - COPY FILES, AND BACKUP YOUR DEVICE.

It's kinda sorta like how iTunes backs up and updates iPhones. Not as functional, but the same principal.
