I know we like to air our thoughts on these types of decisions but it’s pretty simple. Buy it. If you don’t like it, return it.

I had the 10 and HATED the under screen finger print scanner. That alone keeps me from Samsung.

Crazy of course not. We all need and want different things. But IMO the s20 plus is a much better device. Flagship specs, brighter screen, by a lot too. Better sound, faster refresh rate, faster charging 25 watt vs 18. Better build, feels better in hand despite a much bigger display. Samsung is also keeping up with Google with updates.

I think you gotta do what's right for you! If you feel like you need to try out the Pixel 5 - go for it! You can always return it within the return period window if it does not meet your expectations.
