I am new at this. I currently have the SG3 on Verizon. I would like to purchase the mini version for my teen. Is it possible to buy a mini and have it put on my Verizon account? Thanks in advance.

No, It won't work. Verizon is CDMA carrier and the Mini is only GSM device.
