I was wondering why I can get 4G data on my Clear modem but can't get get my Shift to connect to 4G (which is Clear's 4G) in my home. I understand that there are certain factors that contribute to this, one being that the Clear modem has a larger antenna, and another being that the Clear modem uses more power than the Shift... I live in an area that Sprint's and Clear's 4G coverage maps suggests gets the strongest signal and will work indoors, however I've yet to get one bar on 4G on my phone indoors. I can never get the Shift to go past the "Connecting to Sprint stage."
I was wondering if overclocking the phone would increase the amount of power that goes into trying to get and/or hold a 4G signal on the Shift, and does anyone notice increased 4G connectivity after overclocking.
Thanks in advance.
