Would Samsung get rid of the A series in the future and no longer have a budget or mid-range lineup?

Would Samsung get rid of the A series in the future and no longer have a budget or mid-range lineup in the United States? How likely is that to happen?

Not very I think. Isn't the A series the best seller for Samsung?

I agree with rvbfan, the A series is very important for Samsung in the budget and midrange category, which accounts for the majority of their global sales.

Old thread but would have loved to see the FE lineup fair better. It could have been more aggressive in price and push the A series even cheaper. The 20FE is a great device and I would still be rockin' it to this day if the local repair shop didn't make things worse when repairing it.

Places like India are where they sell a ton of A-series low-tier phones. Many people there can't afford much (the population of the country is now larger than China).

Looking at some of the US market - AT&T alone carries 5 of the A series phones right now. Of course they span at least 2 generations. They wouldn't be selling them if they didn't sell. AT&T tends to be quick to dump a poor performer.

Good question and what an interesting topic to discuss! Thank you for posting!

I don't think Samsung will stop producing A-range phones. The entry/mid-range phone market is pretty huge -- maybe even bigger than those who buy flagship phones -- so I'm sure Samsung will continue to put out and promote these products!

I read that their A series, is what makes them money especially overseas.

I tried several and if budget was tight I would be fine with say, the A54.

I am sure that the A line would be popular choices everywhere! I don't think they'd get rid of such an attractive product line.
