Would the Jelly Bean OS allow me to place the same two icons on my home screen?

Could I place two Shazam icons on my home screen or would it not allow that because that would create a duplicate? Just curious.

What do you need two of the same icon for?

Just tried it on my maxx running 4.0 and it allows me to put as many of the same thing as apace allows. Not sure if it's cause I'm on a rom or not, but I'm not going back to stock just to find out

You should be able to place as many copies of any shortcut or widget that you want. I know it's possible on Jelly Bean, and I'm pretty sure it was just as feasible on previous versions of Android. So the answer is yes.

As far as why, carracerz14, my guess is to have quick access to Shazam on each homescreen.
