If you use a battle.net authenticator always remove the authenticator from your account online any time you will need to redownload the auth app from the market (like flashing a new ROM). The ID of the new download will be different then the one assigned to your account. There is a resync option but that will not work.

If you don't you will spend an hour on hold and have to prove you are you. Save the auth ID somewhere safe and/or have the original game auth code handy (sticker on origonal disk) - if you don't heed my advice and have to call to have the auth removed.

What a pain that is. Best case you will lose a night of gaming until their support staff is open in the morning. Then be prepared to have to call for an hour to then be put on hold for 2 hours. Or just remember to remove the authenticator first!

I am Rooted and use titanium backup and I still had problems because I originally added the authenticator to the original os.

I thought the authenticator ID was tied to my phone ID or #. It is not. Each download from market creates a new ID.

I just ran into that problem too when i rooted, that hold system sucks, if the queue is too big, they just hang up.

yeah it took me 2 hours to get thru and 5 minutes for them to remove it. what a sham! and i lost my core hound pup.
