i really wanted to love it, but i felt i was gonna break my phone trying to get it in the thing! do you guys have an easy way of doing it? it's really tight fitting!

I had the same issue at first. I actually forgot to wipe down the back of my One and there was a bunch of crud between the plastic and aluminum on first install. I was dreading taking the case off but found it was easiest to push up on the camera and peel back from the top. Re-install was much easier and I got a tighter seal around the phone by inserting the bottom corners first and then stretching the top corners over once the bottom of the phone was situated.

Hope that makes sense LOL.

While the ONE is most attractive without any case,I have this Poetic case and feel it is the most attractive "minimalist" case I have seen. The aluminum back of the phone shows through just great ( no odd discoloration) and even the white edges of the phone show through. I have one complaint and it is significant. This case fits so tightly that it is VERY difficult to remove. If I was rating it, I would give a one star deduction for this.

How do you guys complain about tight fitting cases? You shouldn't be taking the case off regularly any way. Plus it's not hard at all to get off. Use a little force you won't break the case or phone.

I really love this case as well. Looks great and you can still see how great the phone looks.

I like how tight fitting the case it. I hate a loose fitting case that is creaky and the lip covering the screen is all loose. And I do not think it is THAT hard to put on and take off.

There's a lip so it should protect the screen and the plastic is hard enough where it shouldn't dent if dropped. I never use bulky cases. This is as thick as I go. All diamond cut edges are completely protected. I presently own 10 cases for this phone and this is the best hands down.

got mine yesterday. love the look and feel of it. definitely doesn't take away from the looks or slim profile of the device. the only (very minor) complaints I have is that it is rather slick and man, it is a pain in the tail to get this thing on and off. If you are a chronic sim switcher like myself this case may not be for you. Bottom line, my favorite of all of the cases I've purchased thus far for my One.
