The note 2 just recieve a update today and the s3 is still sitting in the dark. This is the biggest selling phone on at&t and they are still taking their time with updates. That's just sad and ridiculous!!!!

Either root or quit complaining. It doesn't do any good. Or you can wait

Everybody have smart mouths leaving messages. If you don't like what I'm or people are saying, stay the hell away

I didn't mean to come off a smart mouth but in all honesty creating threads asking why your s3 doesn't have 4.1.2 is annoying. You're not the only one without it. I'm on TMO and I don't have it. I could be complaining that I don't have LTE but it wouldn't get me anywhere. Android Central can't do anything about it.

The big issue is that AT&T has been updating all the other phones, and has ignored the S3 and also refuses to talk about the situation. Now, if AT&T were to say "We are skipping the 4.1.2 update for the S3 because we are already doing QA testing for 4.2.1", that would calm everyone down and would improve customer relations. I also get the urge to call customer service every now and then just to ask them where the update is, and why AT&T can't say anything, even without talking about a date.

So, that's my suggestion, don't complain on HERE, call 611 from your phone and ask them why it is impossible to tell customers why AT&T is the only carrier to not have 4.1.2 for the S3 at this point.

That's about right, now T-Mobile has beat at&t to the update party. Nobody is complaining, just pointing out the craziness that going on with our s3.

Yeah, AT&T is being slow as hell on it. I may be rooting soon. My next phone will be a Nexus for no reason other than the updates.

Meh. The only thing I got excited about in the JB update was google now. That lasted a week. Now the stupid thing reminds me to leave for appointments two hours after they are over, maps goes nuts and runs my battery flat about once a week, and I got a few other bugs.
