WP7 on My Evo

It would be cool but I doubt it. I use my phone for business and tight integration with Outlook would be very cool. I am now doing lots of auto sinking with various google apps which is ok but less than perfect.

I'll probably move on to a ZuneHD phone after I am done with the EVO. Plus I LOVE the Zune Pass.

I'm sure eventually there will be a port. But to be honest, not sure why anyone would want to try it. From what I've read and seen, while there are a couple of cool features, overall it's light years behind Android, especially 2.2

Agreed... if you really want WP7 just wait and get the HD7 when it hits the market.. Very close to the HD2 and EVO in specs...

Agreed. Wish they'd release an android app (but I won't hold my breath).

Agreed. Nice UI but it needs a few major upgrades to really contend.

Technically superior specs. It has the Adreno 205 GPU as opposed to the Adreno 200. That makes a huge difference and was probably made a requirement because of the focus on gaming.

Why would I buy another phone when I can just put WP7 on my evo? That wouldnt make sense. The evo isnt old just yet. Now in 3 years I could see people saying that to me. I just want to try WP7 just like I dual boot linux.

This would be cool if Microsoft was letting everyone have it for free. I'm sure if it was open source it wouldn't even be that hard to do.

Not sure on an official port for WM7, but in the mean time there is always Launcher 7 in the market, not exactly the same but a nice WM7 mockup launcher.

It would be cool to have it as an option, for sure. I'd love to give it a spin just to have the experience with the OS, learn it's pluses and minuses. I'm sure I would end up flashing back to my favorite Android ROMs but this would still be cool to have as an alternative ROM. That's the true beauty of Android... OPTIONS!
