I had the same issue....It is from the App Notification Toggle. You need to go into the app and you can pick what icon or no icon you want in the notification area.
A white wrench appeared at the top of my Samsung Galaxy Core Prime screen...about 2 weeks ago. No one can help me out with this. Why is this wrench there? I really need help with this. Thanks!
Just found out it was from my Google account, just letting me know that there are some changes on my account. Thank you for your help.
Can you please tell me which app you used to quiet this blasted wrench icon that keeps my phone blinking? I can't seem to locate it. Thanks!!
I finally figured it out. You need to 'pull down' the top bar by swiping down with your finger. You'll see the wrench next to your google account info. Tap on it and it takes you to the updated info for your google account. Then it goes away. No other changes are needed. Not really worth flashing the blue light over and over in my opinion!
