Write on Calendar - What's the point?

I'm new to the Notes series phones and trying to see what features will help me be more productive. The Write On Calendar feature seems a little half-baked unless I'm missing something. It only works in Month View which seems kind of odd. Then once I do write stuff, it's only accessible on my phone. Personally, I think it would be cool to be able to convert to text and have that sync with my online calendars.

So am I missing the point here? Does anyone use this who could tell me how to get the most out of it?

Yeah Samsung could improve it a little. I don't like how the written data doesn't get saved.
