Wrong contact list importing to Pioneer 8100NEX

I've got an VZW S6 with multiple contact lists. I've changed the "Contacts to display" setting in "My Contacts" on the phone to only display my gmail contacts which is what I want. However, when my Pioneer 8100 (and 7800BT in the other car for that matter) syncs contacts it lists all kinds of bizarre contacts, many with no numbers associated with the contacts listed. None of my primary use contacts are transferred.

Any ideas?

The Pioneer doesn't look at the displayed contacts, it import all of them. That's how it's written. There's nothing you can do about that. (Bluetooth is just a specification for how data is transferred, not for what data is transferred. Manufacturers are free to transfer whatever data they choose, in whatever format they choose.)

Ok, thanx. Followup question then: how do I get the contacts I want to transfer, like my wife and son?

Just deleted all contacts from phone, re synced the Google contacts, deleted Bluetooth info from 8100 and 7800BT, reset phone with both. Not perfect but it works.

I have the same problem!! Its showing me EVERY single person that ever even sent me an email apparently. More than half the contacts dont even have phone #'s

Whats worse, its NOT showing me my wife or brother's contact info!!! WTF? I can understand it pulling in TOO MUCH info, but why is it being selective??
