WTF?

For some reason my optimus is cutting itself off and on while I'm in the middle of stuff. Anyone else having this problem? And does someone have a solution?

You're going to have to be way more specific. Please answer the following questions:

What do you mean by "cutting on and off"? Your screen shuts off, or the phone reboots, or it powers down and you have to manually power it back on, or what?

Are you running a custom ROM?

Are you overclocked? What are your OC settings?

What do you mean, "Cutting itself off and on"? If you mean turning off, and rebooting itself, lower your overclock. Are you rooted? Running a custom ROM? We need more info to help you.

Okay. I'm running quattrimus and and the phone will freeze up then cut off and goes to the boot animation. As far as my OC goes; I have no clue what that is.

its quattrimus . its random, theres no fix. it has nothing to do with OC, in your case. its just the way it is.. itll hang and just reboot

If you don't know what's happening with it then I suggest switching to an IHO rom.

I just was having this problem but I think I have it fixed now... Anyway I just backed up my sdcard to my computer and formatted everything and repartitioned sdcard in recovery mounted usb storage in recovery put the latest nightly on my sdcard and gapps and re flash. Ymmv.... Worked for me
