My iPhone 5 has been reset and is boxed up and ready to go. All I would need is a happy buyer and I can convert the AppleCare+ to them.

Actually, you don't really need to convert the Applecare+. It stays with the phone. That's what Apple support told me when I got an iPhone with Applecare+ on it.
