WWACD? Root and rom my HTOX, or trade in for a SGSIII?

I find I am disappointed in my HTC One X. It's laggy, the carrier billing in Play Store doesn't work, and Sense keeps crashing and driving me crazy.

I see there are instructions for rooting and installing roms at xda, but I can't decide if I want to do that (and void the warranty) or just do a flat exchange for the SGSIII and see if I like it better.

I'm just curious - what would Android Central do?

Returned my HOX but not yet ordered S III. Verizon's measly 2 week return time is not time enough for me to evaluate.
