x freezes up and reboots

hi,


how much of this can I think is due to the glitches in the x..
the phone frezing up..and rebooting itself a few times..

yesterday I lost the screen while trying to play an mp3 and had to do a battery pull..

is this just the glitches of the device or is this just a defective device?

I know many of these have glitches, but I do have a warranty with best buy, so I "think" im entitled to a brand new one??

any ideas?

If doing a reset to factory standard doesn't seem to clear it up, id suggest warranty replacement. Both my wife and i got them, but only hers is stable. I am getting replacement.

Need more info.

How many apps do you have?
How many are running at one time?
Do you have/use a task killer?

I had the same problem with my DX and was about to return it and then I noticed that the only time it froze and restarted was when I was playing mp3's. It ended up being that everytime I tried to play a song that was originally purchsed with itunes my phone locked and rebooted. Once I removed all the mp3's that were purchsed in itunes my problem went away and has not happened since.
