X screen worries.

i ordered my x last night. it will be here tomorrow before 3. i wanted to get some opinions from people who have already gotten theirs on how the screen looks. i know all the reviews say its a good resolution and all, but in all the videos and stuff it always looks really dull and washed out. are you happy with it when you got it. is it pretty bright and good colors. im hoping that its just the videos that people have taken arent showing the colors and clarity that well. i had an iphone 3gs a year ago and have had a lg touch while i waited for the x, so im hoping that its a little better than the 3gs was. it might just be all the videos that im seeing of the galaxy s's and their screens looking so vibrant thats making me think the X is looking washed out. anyway, any thoughts from anyone that got the x today would be great.

It looks bright, crisp, and the colors look true, to my eyes anyway.

The screen is definitely great. Clear, accurate colors, and a great size. I highly doubt you'll be disappointed with it.

yeah the video is great. But as you can see in my thread I was having trouble with the video and audio syncing, but i've fixed it now, well somewhat.

best screen quality I've seen on a device yet!

the screen is gorgeous. i'm not missing anything coming from my amoled incredible's screen. the increase in size is good, colors are vivid and images and videos are crisp.

plus i can see it better in the sun!

awesome. thanks for the replys guys. i know videos taken to do reviews usually dont show the true quality of a screen so im glad to hear it looks great. mine will be here by 3 pm tomorrow...CANT WAIT

I got the anit glare screen protectors and put it on right away. problem is now the screen dont look so nice. I had a nice clear one on my droid but these are kinda fuzzy. whites look to have some color in them from the anti glare. Anyone know where to get better ones?

not unless you count the film that is there to protect it before you use it.

but that doesn't count.


personally i've never been a fan of screen protectors, especially with glass covered screens, they're quite hard to scratch.

No, but they sold them at the store when I got mine for $15, but I got the guy to throw it in 'cause I bought a $20 case.. haha.

The ones they sell their suck though, as the only cover the 'interactive' part of the LCD screen and not the entire screen.
I'll replace it at some point, but it's better than nothing right now.
