If u r on the leaked version u will not be able to download the update. In order to receive this update, u would need to sbf to froyo and accept the OTA update. But I recommend staying on the leaked gb build if it is working fine for u. I have heard that there are still a few bugs in the new update.![]()
So my phone installed the gb update (602) on its own n I keep delaying it... if I do the update will I lose all my stuff on my phone? Like apps n numbers? Will I have to save everything and reinstall it all?
I too had the hard button light problem, especially using the multimedia dock for a bedside clock. Every night I would have to restart the phone to get the lights to shut off after placing it in the dock. I found out through trial and error that my antilock screen app was the culprit. I stopped it from running and the hard lights go out every time. With the new(est) update, I've found if I keep the antilock app in "skip mode" I don't have to stop the app at all. Hard lights go out about 20-30 seconds after placing the phone in the dock. The only noticeable issue I had with the original GB release for the X that wasn't resolved with a reboot and cache clearing is the hard button lights. I updated to the current release (which actually does not bump the OS version at all, only the device firmware) and there was absolutely no difference to anything that I can tell, beyond the firmware build number being bumped. No new bugs and no new fixes visible here.
Is there a downloadable update I can grab Somewhere? I'm on 588 and it doesnt find a new update when I search.
I'm running stock GB so it shouldnt be a problem.
