Hi. I have a Galaxy Nexus and will be hopefully ordering a Nexus 10 when back in stock. I have heard and read a few things about XMBC but I am confused on what it is actually used for and how it works?

Well others may use it differently but I have a NAS (network area storage) device at home and I have movies and home videos on it. Using xbmc on my N10 I can connect to that NAS and wirelessly stream that content and not have to worry about using the internal N10 storage to enjoy it. I believe you can use xbmc to detect content on any type of shared network drive or device, not just on a NAS. Hope that helps.

Check this site. It was just updated the other day and has some helpful instructions. http://www.xbmcandroid.com/2013/01/...iendly-release-of-xbmc-for-android-must-have/ Xbmc is the app, after that you just have to have a proper network share and xbmc has a number of options to search for network shares. I'm pretty sure there are more people here that are more knowledgeable than I am on this. Have to see what they say too.

I'm thinking of dling the xbmc but I have one question. Could I play the movies I have on iTunes through xbmc?

Wow that's a great question. I would think so if that media is on a shared folder on your network. Sorry I can't say for sure as I don't use iTunes.
