XBox wireless controller to play games with Note 10+ ?

I was at a Microsoft Store, and they had a working XBox wireless controller hooked up to a Note 10+ phone. I was playing the Asphalt 9 racing game with the XBox controller that wirelessly controlled the phone. Was rather cool, I have to admit. Anyone else tried this?
