Xfinity s22 to T-Mobile?

I need a new phone and I keep finding decent deals on cl for Xfinity s22's. How hard is it to get it on an unlocked rom since in on T-Mobile? Or do I just put in my SIM card and it auto downloads the T-Mobile software? Yes, I know it needs to be paid off. I haven't had to mess with a new phone since I bought my s10e on release.
