xfinity tv apk?

So I really want to try the xfinity TV app but it wont install from the market

So I have two questions.

1. Where can I find the apk ?
2. Can someone recommend an app for downloading. Files from the web?

Any help would be appreciated

Try one of the alternative markets and you should be able to do it without an issue. Be aware though the apks that come up as not found when you try to download them have been disabled to Honeycomb because they aren't going to work right four some reason or another.

WOW. Talk about a non-answer.

Appbrain has it but it won't install on a non rooted tablet. Slide Marketplace and Amazon's app market don't have the app.

So, to restate the initial questions:

Is the Xfinity tv app available on any app markets other than Android's? If so, which ones?

Is the Xfinity tv apk available? If so, where?

Don't know about apk but the app is on GETJAR as well, for free.

I have it in my Xoom, and the only place I would have got it us the Android Market. I'm not rooted.

not rooted, got it from the market. I'd start trying to figure out why you can't get it from the market instead of trying to figure out where else you can get it. I was able to get it on my phone, my wifes phone and my tablet. Is there more to this story? I've come across this before to find that the person refuses to use the android market and will only download APK's from other sources.
