I have Xfinity (comcast) for tv, internet, and phone, so I'm stuck using their all in one router.

I have never seen my WiFi drainage take up such a large percent of battery usage.

On AT&T and regular S6.

Wondering if anyone else has similar problems? & yes, I am on 2.4GHz.

There could be many causes, even just the amount of data you're pumping through wifi. But if you can get into the router, make sure it's using AES encryption for wifi. There seem to be various incompatibilities between the way Google implemented TKIP and the way some router manufacturers did.

Ok, changed it from AES/TKIP to just AES. Restarted the modem. We'll see what happens.

Wanted to bump my thread because still having issues with getting my notifications when I'm hooked up to the wifi at home. I will pick up my phone and a wave of emails, hangout messages, etc will pop up.

Call Comcast because it might be a problem with your WiFi router

Off topic but FYI, you're not stuck using their all-in-one. Go buy yourself a decent router and run the output from port 1 on your CC router to the input plug on your new router. Then call CC and tell them to put your CC router into bridge mode. Then you are only using the modem part of their all-in-one.
