Xiaomi 14 sound

A friend just bought the Xiaomi 14 in Europe, he is getting to know the phone, downloading the applications and updates, he told me that when the download is being done there is a very annoying sound, something similar to a constant notification and he can't find the setting to eliminate it, does anyone know what I'm talking about and how to change it?

Tell him to go to Settings>Apps, then select the name of the app store he's using (e.g., Google Play Store, or whatever Xiaomi uses), then Notifications. Look for a notification option for download/update, and either turn that toggle off, or tap the words and change it from Default to Silent.

Duh, yeh that's probably what it is.
Play - App Info - Show Notifications - Sound,.

There is also, in MIUI Settings, Sounds and Notifications - Silent Mode - a "Pllay sound as you download" button. Odd that it was on by default.

As an older Xiaomi model user, I could only find a Setting on how to turn sound off when uninstalling.
