Xiaomi Mi A2 turn off randomly when placing it on a hstf surface butt first

When I place my phone down a hard surface, a small bump can cause the phone to turn off randomly. Not sure why. It's frequent enough to cost major annoyance.

Welcome to Android Central! Does it completely power down, or is it just the screen that goes to sleep? My guess would be a loose connection somewhere -- you'd have to bring it to a repair shop to check.
