XL 3 vs Note9

Verizon is offering Black Friday deals. I think I'll scope out an XL 3. Would love to get a Note 9 but so far haven't seen it on offer.
This XL is fully paid for so for a replacement I'll have a payment plan. Such is life.

Pixel 3 XL? Go outside on a moonless night, away from any street or house lights, so you need a flashlight to keep from breaking your neck. Go into night mode in the camera (More, then night mode). Take a few pictures. The camera can see a lot more than you can. (Be prepared to hold still for a few seconds for each shot - lean against something.)

Google is still the camera to measure against - again.


(Of course, with the Verizon version, the bootloader is locked, but I guess you don't want to buy it directly from Google - they have a payment plan too. I'm still paying about $30/month for my 2 - no interest.)

I can shoot stars at night with my DSLRs. Don't need to use a cell phone.
If I'm buying a new phone I'm shopping price.
