Xoom not turning on

Got Xoom today and have been playing with it for about 2 hours, was in the gmail app when all of a sudden everything just froze. Turned the screen off and now the screen will not come back on. Have tried holding the power button for 30 seconds with no luck. I know this product is brand new, but anybody have any suggestions?

Update: Thanks to member "wg", Holding the Volume Up and Power button brought it back to life

Plugged in now, battery was at about 70% last I check, which was about 30 minutes before the issue at hand.

That's very scary with such an expensive gizmo! If it was a phone I'd yank the battery. Let us know what happens.

Hold the volume up button and the Power button for just a few second and see if that help. I had to do that already today.

WG, sir or ma'am you are friggin amazing. Volume Up plus Power has brought it back to life. Does anyone know if there is any explanation to this?

it is just the reset but basically like doing a batt pull on your phone...
