Xoom Rooting Benefits?

Well I was always open to rooting my Xoom but only AFTER the 4G hardware upgrade. Now that it's done I can look into rooting my Xoom. Times have changed since the Xoom's February release. Since then we got updates to handle USB Host and SD card Read. Can anyone give me the benefits of rooting my Xoom?

I heard SD Write was one feature. Maybe screen shot capabilities. Let me know. I'm all ears!

Check out my tiamat post. Can write to SD. Overclock to get more speed out of it. Underclock to save battery. Native screen shot by holding down the last open apps button. Also with just root you can edit files delete files flash fun stuff like themes and can also make backups of your full Xoom system.

Go for it. Its a simple process and doesn't take a long time. The XOOM is a nice tablet unrooted but alot more fun when it is rooted. Just like tnt stated...you can just do more.

I had no idea you could do this. Taking screen shots is my most used "Root function."
