Xperia Z1 Can't Play Video on WhatsApp

My Sony Xperia Z1 can't play videos on WhatsApp which previously could, but recently I got an error message "can't play video" when I tap to play video. But, I can play videos from the Video App. and not from the album or WhatsApp.

Welcome to Android Central! Others have found that uninstalling Google+ (or its updates) and then reinstalling it can solve the problem.
