Yahoo Contacts Suddenly Disappeared From Contacts (Samsung Galaxy 8+), but still in Yahoo

I had problems with Google contacts in the past (they never synced to Google and I lost them all with my new phone), so I used Yahoo and verified that they synced back to Yahoo. Everything was fine until today, when they started disappearing and it looks like most are gone now. I noticed it in my texts where it only showed the phone number and no longer the names, so I checked Contacts and they were gone. I checked Yahoo and they are still there. I went to Manage Contacts > Sync Contacts and it was there, but wouldn't sync back. I also had Duo (whatever that is) and a Gmail account selected to sync, and I tried removing them and it didn't work. I tried turning off my Yahoo sync, turning it back on, syncing but they don't come back. I checked access and Yahoo app has access to Contacts and Storage.

Coincidentally, earlier today I had a Device Maintenance issue pop up and say the AVG Antivirus was taking up too much CPU (~12%) and I didn't stop it at first (I want antivirus active), but then later I did stop it and then opened up the app again to make sure it was active. Then I got the notification again, stopped it again, then tried syncing again with no luck.

Also, apps that updated 6 hours ago were Twitter, TeamSnap, Waze (there are contacts there, but not listed in my Contacts to be managed), and Cisco WebEx. Other apps updated yesterday, including Google.

I searched for solutions and haven't found a fix. I'm hoping someone can help? PLEASE!

While you receive a more Tech reply,.is difficult case consider this : You'll be better off
if you write your important contacts and delete them and Re-Enter them in a new
Webmail quit from-Yahoo and use Gmail or Outlook.com-Twitter instead. Google will
Synchronize the contacts, so try on to find the difference. stay Tuned!

It was resolved by removing and then adding back the Yahoo account.
