Yahoo Mail Glitch

I did a cursory search of this forum and all the Android Central forums but didn't find this.

There seems to be a weird little bug in the Yahoo Mail app. I'm not sure if it's unique to the X or if it happens on other phones as well. I'm running the latest version.

I have the Yahoo mail app set to display notifications in the status bar and NOT to use sound or vibrate when mail arrives (I don't want the phone making noise every time I get an email for Viagra or Cialis). This works fine for a little while but eventually I stop getting notifications in the status bar. Sometimes I can get it working again if I turn the audible and haptic notifications for Yahoo Mail on and back off after I get an email.

Has anyone seen this on their X or any other Android phone?

For what it's worth I submitted feedback on the Yahoo Mail App webpage.

Im getting all the notifications except for the SOUND! annoying.

I've been having the same issue with Yahoo mail, but im not using the app, I get the notification vibration, but not the icon in the bar, I found a couple threads around other android sites saying that other X owners are having the same problems.
