Yahoo mail issue with new EVO 3D

Mine is still not working. Not sure I like the notification on the stock email program. Is there a way to make the notification sound different?

Is there a way to keep the Inbox as the default folder when you open the native app for a Yahoo account? Mine keeps defaulting to "All Messages". Although it doesn't happen every time. Weird. Sometime it will open in Inbox and others in "All Messages". And, just to make sure it isn't defaulting to the last folder I had open when I closed it previously, I always close the app while in the Inbox.

My primary email account is Yahoo, but I also have a gmail account. I've tried sending mail to both accounts using the stock email app. The gmail account updates within 5 minutes and give a notification sound. The Yahoo account will not update until I manually press the email app and then wait 5-10 seconds. Finally the new mail will appear. Is the the same situation you guys are experiencing? Also it seems that the max refresh time for either gmail or Yahoo is 5 minutes. Is there no way to have the mail update on the phone faster than that?

Yeah same deal none of my yahoo email pushes...pretty annoying. I don't know if It's my fault or what. I have all the peak times and all that stuff set all day to update every 15min but no luck. Wonder why..

Try the yahoo mail app that's in the market. It has push like the official gmail app.

K9 Mail is another good app for email accounts that wont setup through the pre-installed email app

Is there a problem with Yahoo? I been trying to get my account set up on the EVO3D for two days without success. Now to think of it a co-worker asked me a similar question about a week ago but it was working fine on my EVO then. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I had the same problem. It worked when I changed my name account.
