Yahoo on the Gmail app

Is anyone else having problems getting the Gmail app to connect to their Yahoo Mail account?

Both my N9 and N5 keep reporting the same error: "Userneme or password is incorrect", but the same username/password works fine on the yahoo mail web interface.

I like having access to my junk mail yahoo account without having to run a 2nd mail app.

I haven't tried importing Yahoo Mail directly into the Gmail app--what I do is have Gmail import Yahoo from the web interface. Have you tried that?

1. Go to Gmail on the web browser of your computer.
2. Click on the gear button at the upper right, then Settings.
3. Click on Accounts & Import, and Check Mail from Other Accounts (Using POP3), and follow the prompts.

You should now get all of your Yahoo mail that is not classified as Spam by Yahoo.

It's not really importing yahoo mail into the gmail app. The app is actually connecting to the yahoo servers as if it was a gmail account.
And if this is indeed broken now, then your work around sounds like a good fix. I was mostly curious if anyone else was having problems with it.

It's working now. Must have been a server issue.
