Yahoo sign in unsuccessful

I often get an error message saying yahoo sign in has been unsuccessful. It still syncs fine but the error message keeps coming up at random intervals.
Anyone seen this before?

You could try removing and then re-adding the account.

Also, how many different Yahoo apps do you have installed? For example, do you have Yahoo Mail and Yahoo Sports installed? Make sure all of them are signed in correctly. Or sign out on each of them, then sign in again.

I've removed the account and reinstalled, let's see how that goes. It's the stock email app. No additional yahoo apps installed.

Grr keeps coming back! What with the charging error i'm finding this phone quite glitchy. Not good after only a couple of weeks!

I am getting exactly the same message - Yahoo sign-in unsuccessful - on my Moto G (running KitKat 4.4.2). But it doesn't appear to affect anything., I can still use the account fine. Just ignoring it - though anoying

I've been having the same problem for quite a while. But does it effect the emails that go out? My notifications, "not receiving alot of them, not all, but alot." For instance, expecting a password change email and never receive it as well as other types. Very FRUSTRATING! !!

Same thing here. And get this, I even changed my yahoo password and gmail was still syncing for a whole week with the OLD password.
