^ i was having this issue, and it is unresolved. nobody seems to know whats up with that, so i tried to reset flash counter to 0 and remove the triangle to give it back to sprint. triangle away reset the counter but not the triangle. whats happening? google says nothing about this. why do these things that happen to no one else happen to me?

I might be crazy but the triangle has nothing to so with triangle away, that just resets the flash counter, has nothing to do with texting. The triangle you see usually means you're roaming, did you dial ##72786# and then update the PRL and Profile? Maybe you should try GoSMS or Handcent to see if they can send a text, could be the baked in app.

i fixed the texting thing by talking to the sprint people they did something on their end, but the reason i want to be able to remove the yellow triangle is so in case i do **** something up i want to be able to make it covered by warranty again
