I'm currently using my Galaxy S5 with my new Kenwood system with Android Auto. Before moving up to a Note 7, I need to know if it has a known issue linking to Andtoid Auto. I've seen many posts on line saying there is a problem, but many date back to March and April.
Is anyone successful using the Note 7 with Android Auto?

No problem. I used it yesterday and all day today. All features work.

My answer is yes ....

I'll reset the AT&T version and try again tonight to see if anything changes.

Edit, a factory reset fixed the issues I was seeing.

Android Auto worked perfectly in my 2016 Volt. I like it a lot better than Car Play

Interesting that you like it more than Carplay. I have an iPhone 6 and my 2016 Civic has Carplay in it. I'm due for an upgrade in September and the Note 7 is a serious contender for me. What was it you liked about Android Auto over Carplay, please? I wouldn't want you to spend time on a full-on review, just your initial thoughts.

I've tried an LG G4 and a Nexus 6 on my 16 Sonata. In both cases, the reply to text did not work properly. Cuts off before you can speak, asks to send the word "message" or "search," etc. Are you guys not having this issue with the Note?

Verizon Note 7 and a 2016 Chevy Impala with Chevy MyLink and it works flawlessly. My Note 4 would never link up to it. Huge fan of the Maps, search, and Pandora/iHeart integration.

Got my Note 7 about a week ago and have a Pioneer AVH-4100NEX. Doesn't work with Android Auto. I get a blank screen when I plug in. Bluetooth works perfectly, just Android Auto not functioning at all right now. Have questions in with Pioneer and Android Auto. No response back from either since this past Saturday.

My international Note 7 works fine with my VW Golf R.

I wonder if you might try if you have issues a) change MTP mode as that may kick it b) reset the defaults in the AA app c) disable or uninstall any note 7 in car app that isn't AA d) try another USB cable (stick the extra adaptor on the end of a standard micro if need be as that's what I have done).
