How to reset your Odin Flash Count. One of the most important things to do in this process is to make 100% sure you know your current flash count before proceeding. You will be doing this with an app called triangle away, which has just been updated to support all US versions of the GS3. Click on the link below to download triangle away.

Sorry for my noobness... but why would we need to reset your flash count?

When you root with Odin it tracks how many times you've done so. In some cases Sprint or Samsung can deny warranty repairs on your phone if you have rooted or installed custom recovery or mods to your phone.

Sprint has changed their policy to allow rooted phones to be covered for hardware repairs but many like to be sure. So reseting your flash count and installing the stock firmware will eliminate any worries that warranty work well be refused.

Oh -_- If i actually watch the video i would know but i'm currently at work. Sorry guys! I should have just been patient and read/watch the video later to actually know. But thanks for the reponse Skunkape60.

What about where it says "system status = custom?" Isn't that a red flag too?

That will go away when you return your phone to stock. Which is what you will do if you're going to be returning the phone.
