Funny you should post that today - I was just working with someone who had his phone in an Otterbox Defender - with a tempered glass protector. The phone got tapped lightly against a sharp edge - and the protector cracked. Without the protector there wouldn't have been any damage. Now he has to remove the protector. (All tempered glass does is keep the screen from breaking into sharp shards, it crumbles instead. A plastic protector actually protects the screen against some breakage, but it scratches if you're rough on your phone.)

Same SP I have. The fit is really good and its hardly noticeable at all. It's also case friendly.

Tempered glass protectors basically prevent the screen from being sctratched. That's about it. And the tempered glass protector will eventually crack from a minor drop.

Yeah, the tempered glass protector may crack, but the actual phone screen won't. Which is kind of the point of the screen protector.

Anyways, I have the Yootech and love it. Extremely clear, no bubbles and smooth as silk.
