YouTube and YouTube functions missing pull-down notification

I hope this is the right place to ask this question! I just upgraded to the new Android 10 and I've noticed it when I play YouTube and YouTube TV, I used to be able to just pull down the notification bar screen and control the play and pause etc I don't even see that anymore after my update. I did play Google Play Music and I was able to see exactly what I wanted with the pause and play but not with YouTube TV or YouTube. Can anyone tell me how I can get these functions back? Thank you

Is this only when you're casting to your TV?

No... In general... it will not show up in my notification pull-down

Try clearing cache in recovery

You will only see the notification in the notification area if you are casting to another device. At least this is how it works for me.

I agree with lucianus_luciferus. I don't get notification controls if I'm playing the video on my phone. If you think about it, there's no reason for notification controls if you're playing a video on your phone, since the user is presumably watching the video on the phone screen, which also has the controls on that screen. If you're doing something else while the video is playing in the background, the video would be a picture-in-picture, and you get controls in the PIP window.
