YouTube app keeps re-enabling itself!?

Everyday I disable the YouTube app on my phone, then out of nowhere, it updates in the Play Store and it gets re-enabled. I have tried disabling it with and without clearing its data beforehand, but it still re-enables. I tried turning off auto update for the YouTube app, and it still happens. I turned off auto update for ALL my apps and it still happens. Is this Googles way of getting everyone to use all their services? What do I do? My only solution is to disable the Google Play Store, which I have to enable at one point again to use it... This started happening like a month ago, is this just happening me??
Phone - Moto G4 Plus running android 8.1.0
Thanks.

Which carrier are you on? If you're on T-Mobile, it could be related to their AppSelector app.
