YouTube controls not responding

Hello, I just noticed this started happened yesterday and is still happening today.

Basically when I start a video on YouTube I then cannot access the buttons such as pause, play or Skip adds. Essentially it's play or close the app. It's very annoying.

Prior to yesterday or maybe the day before YouTube was working as normal.

Anyone else have this happening or know of a fix?

ok I cleared app cache, that did nothing, then I uninstalled the latest update and that seems to have fixed it for now.

I've been experiencing the same issue for about half a week now. However, when I go to my recent menu YouTube will bring up the navigation controls again, only until I go into landscape mode again...

It's the latest update for sure. Uninstall it and it'll work right again.

+1. Portrait mode works fine. Once put into landscape I only have a full screen or fit to screen button. Going back to portrait makes YouTube unresponsive. Uninstalling the current update fixed it for me.
