YouTube default app

Is there a way to set it to open videos in YouTube instead of the browser when you click links.

I know it did on my nexus. It's annoying.

thats a result of the whole Apple blocking them from being imported thing. there's no easy work around other than mods and registry edits and all that fun stuff that comes with being unlocked.

Yep. You're stuck unless you're rooted. If you're rooted, it's a very quick build.prop edit to restore the functionality.

An update to the YouTube app? A lot of the Google apps were updated yesterday including YouTube, G+, Maps, Earth, Books, Movies due to announcements made at the I/O regarding Jelly Bean. In fact, I currently have the Jelly Bean version of the Play Store on both my Nexus and my E4GLTE.

Apple used a patent claim to block the EVO4GLTE from import. It's not the app, it's how the phone launches apps when you click on an item such as a phone number or link.

The way you're familiar with is the way that Apple was upset about. So to get around it, HTC made it so that you run into the problem you're having.

Thats ridiculous. I hate apple. Only a company such as themselves could block other companys from launching apps on a phone.

I still love the your rectangle looks like our rectangle because we invented the rectangle approach.
