You won't find some if not all of these in the Play Store due to copyright issues.

Reading about Google TubeMote does not sound like it will allow you to download youtubes via wifi and watch watch without any connection. Have you personally done this with Google TubeMote?

Wow, I never knew I wanted to know the answer to this until you asked... I'm actually disappointed that there isn't an official way to do it. :s

I believe the reason there isnt an official way is because it isnt exactly legal.
