How do you watch youtube videos from links in the app instead of on the website using flash after the froyo update? Flash is great but the app is much preferred by me for watching most videos...

Also, on a completely unrelated note, is sprint allowing froyo tethering? And if so, how do you do it?

Sorry for the random questions.:o

that I kno of there's no way to open links using the app. Froyo tethering as expected was disabled.

Using Dolphin Browser, if I long-tap on an embedded YouTube video it brings up the option to play the video using the YouTube app or the browser.

Ah, stock browser doesn't do it. I prefer the stock even though I know it doesn't have all the features dolphin does.

I just tried it in the stock browser and got it to work. When the video starts loading in the embedded player, when it tap on the player again it brings up the option to play in the YouTube app.

Great! Thanks! I had the phone in landscape so when I clicked it again, it came up showing Dolphin Browser and Internet but I didn't realize you could scroll down! Haha, thanks again though.

I tried it in both the dolphin browser and the stock browser and choose Youtube option. It tells me cannot it doesn't have a mobile version. It used to play the video in the Youtube app before the Froyo update.

Some videos aren't optimized for the app. Ive found that on some videos on any smartphone. I'm glad we can watch them using both now, regardless. I like the choice.
