Does anyone know why I get messages saying that I can't watch a documentary on YouTube because of age restrictions (I'm WELL over 60) or they are restricted because of my country (USA)? I'm frustrated and can't find the answer anywhere.

Can you post a link to the video you are trying to watch?

The country restriction is usually because of licensing issues. The producer of the content, like TV networks, sell the content to a provider in your country and that provider wants to ensure that they are the exclusive source of the content in the country.

Regarding the age restriction, did you lie about your birthdate when you signed up for your GMail or other Google account?

You know, I think I DID lie about my age!! I didn't want all my personal info out there so I think I made myself 101 or somewhere near that on one account. I wonder if I can change that. I guess I frosted MY Wheaties!! I'll check my gmail account. THANKS!!
